Beginning on Monday, November 23, 2020, Lighthouse is temporarily shutting down its facility as a precautionary measure to support the safety of our community. In response to the 11.3% COVID positivity rate in Lancaster county, now considered substantial, the Office of Developmental Programs has strongly recommended that all providers like Lighthouse shut down. Lighthouse’s decision to shut down has been made under this guidance as well as much prayer and seeking of counsel from the board and leadership team.
Lighthouse will still offer Remote Services, as well as off-site Community Participation Supports (CPS) and Employment Services. Participant families will be contacted on Monday, November 23 by their Program Specialists to discuss options for service during the shutdown. If you have questions about services throughout the shutdown, please contact your Program Specialist or Brian French at brianfrench@lighthousevoc.org. You can also leave a message at 717-354-0355 or info@lighthousevoc.org.
Thank you for your continued prayers for well-being for all, and for God’s guidance for Lighthouse. We appreciate you! We are praying for you too, and may God’s peace be with you.
