While our facility has opened, there are still individuals opting to learn from home through our remote classes. Here are some highlights!
“Cultivate your craft. Water it daily, pour some tender loving care into it, and watch it grow. Remember that a plant doesn’t sprout immediately. Be patient, and know that in life you will reap what you sow.”
― J.B. McGee

Looks like Dwayne's hard work is paying off!
A special highlight occurred during Lighthouse’s opening week. I was back at work in the building, but was also able to continue teaching my two remote exercise classes. Since I was teaching from the Lighthouse building we were able to include two in-person guests from the Strengthening Pathways Program.
Kaitlin A. and Margie P. joined Greg N. in my first class. He really enjoyed seeing both of his coworkers as well as some of the staff that he knew. This gave him a new level of excitement as the class worked on our songs together.
In my second class, the class regulars were very welcoming to our new guests and were also able to display a lot of patience for those participants who had to move more slowly.
As an instructor, it was great to see how the participants online as well as the ones in-person participated well together!
