Though Lighthouse has reopened our facility, we are still providing remote services for individuals not yet able to return to work on-site. Below are some highlights from this week's sessions!
My bible class has been working on the 10 commandments and we will be finishing up this week with the 10th commandment. Over the past several weeks the group has learned about each of the commandments and how it impacts them in their daily lives.
Last week we learned about the 9th commandment, Thou shall not lie. We learned that God is asking us to be honest with Him, ourselves and others. The group created a poem using the letters of the word Honesty. Chanse L., Angie W., KT A. and Jon F. did a great job. The poem is attached below. ~ Jen Swanson
Helping others feel good
Only tell the truth to everyone
Nobody likes to be told a lie
Everybody loves God
Saying kind words and prayer is important
Trust one another
You are my friend

Thanks to Jared B. for being our feature artist this week!
This beautiful piece uses a combination of techniques Dustin Horne's art class has done over the past several weeks.
Here is a leftover torn collage.
Here is a Zentangle Heart with Ribbon. For those who don't know: The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.
