2020 was a hard year - it came with much change and many unprecedented circumstances. (I don't know about you, but if I never hear the word "unprecedented" again, I'll be one happy camper!) Lighthouse had to re-evaluate how to serve our many participants, families, group homes, businesses and staff.
Throughout a March-June shutdown, Lighthouse began to adapt by adding Remote Classes, and safely returning to the community with Community Participation Services and Small Group Employment. When we were able to open our doors again in late June, the laughter, greetings and all-around jovial noise in the building brought joy to our ears. Though we are again moving through a partial shutdown, we have continued to adapt and push forward. We are excited for the day when we can all return to the building and greet each other in-person instead of over the computer.
Until then, we wanted to say THANK YOU! Your generosity, your prayers, your kind words, your encouragement has meant so much to every one of us. Without your generosity we would not be able to keep our program running. Take a peek below for some photos of the last year.
