Programs & Services

What we do!

We currently operate a 25,000 square foot building in New Holland, PA where we conduct much of our programming which focuses on developing the individual participant, emotionally, educationally, physically and spiritually.

The Work Activity Center is a facility-based vocational program focused on training participants for the labor market by teaching the skills and attributes needed to succeed in their vocation.

This is a program that helps participants who are interested in becoming employed in the community. Participants are screened for skills and job coaches are assigned to help eligible participants find and retain employment at jobs outside of Lighthouse Vocational Services.

Community Participation Supports is designed to connect our individuals to the community and help build natural community supports for them. Community Participation allows our participants the ability to volunteer at several non-profits and intern at for-profit businesses.

Specialized Training &
Adult Training Program

The Specialized Training Program is organized in groups of 6 – 10 participants who complete the same kinds of work as those in the Work Activity Center. These groups are designed to provide more focused training and skill development than is available on the production floor.

The focus of this program is to give students a real-world experience set in a work environment that mirrors their interests.
